Mobile Petrozavodsk

Petrozavodsk – is a beautiful green city by the water. 

More than 3000 citizens (over 1% of the population) - are bicycle enthusiasts who participate in Bicycle Parades and actions that popularize bicycles and non-motorized modes of transport.

Many people use bicycle as a year-round vehicle. 

In the city almost every café, shop, school or public place has bicycle parking. 

In Petrozavodsk there is a bicycle path along the waterfront of Lake Onega 1.5 km long. 

Since 2016 it has begun to work bicycle rental net Cafebike.org. It consists of 6 rental points – everyone can rent a bike and return it in another part of the city.  

Annually it takes place city actions VELODAY and OTKRYTYIE UlITSY that are attended from 2000 to 5000 people. Development of bicycle culture is engaged by activists and volunteers of cycling movement VELOVE.
