Developing Strategic Documents: Reconstruction of Interagency Cooperation

Summary
Federal executive bodies implement a plan for strategic planning documents provided by the Federal Law of June 28, 2014 №172 "On the Strategic Planning in the Russian Federation" (hereinafter - the 172-FL) under the jurisdiction of the Government of the Russian Federation on 2016-2018, as well as for departmental action plans prepared for the implementation of strategic planning documents. It is extremely important to observe the principles of strategic planning, determined in 172-FL (including principles: unity and integrity, continuity and balance of the strategic planning system).
Challenges to discuss:
• Restructuring of the interaction of ministries and departments on the preparation of strategic planning documents to reflect the changes made to the Federal Law in 2016;
• Coordination of economic and budgetary policies;
• Departmental plans of the activities of federal executive bodies in the strategic planning documents and its relevance;
• Formatting work on strategic planning within ministries and agencies;
• Coordination mechanism of strategic planning documents developed at the federal and regional levels;
• Staff assistance in the field of strategic planning.
