Expert and Authority. On the Benefits of Strategizing

Summary
The expert community is often disaffected the authorities that do not understand or do not accept advices. And on the contrary, the authorities often criticize the low quality assessment. Who is right and how to build the alignment that will be useful to society and give a real result? The answer will be given by the “veterans of strategic planning” from both sides who are ready to demonstrate the specific effects arising from the strategy development or an adequate expert intervention.
Challenges to discuss:
• Are the experts confident in their recipes? Should we offend on the authorities if it does not accept them?
• Expert and consulting services market: What should it be? How can we cut off the slouches?
• When and why did the cooperation of experts and authorities (especially in strategic planning) bring the useful results?
