The Results of the South-East Finland – Russia, Karelia and Kolarctic 2007-2013 ENPI CBC Programmes and Perspectives for the Programming Period 2014-2020

Summary

New cross-border cooperation Programmes with the participation of Russia and Finland should start in late 2016 after the signing of the Financing Agreement between the EU and Russia.In these Programmes, accumulated experience of implementing CBC Programmes gained in the previous programming period 2007-2013 takes into account the shortcomings of the past period and planned efficiency measures for the work in the new period. The round table will allow discussions about the launching of the new Programmes, get information from the main "key players" who are responsible for the preparation and implementation of Programmes on both sides of the border, as well as discussions related to common approaches to solve possible challenges and to improve the overall performance.
