Summary
At the round table it is discussed the main challenges of modern spatial planning system in the Russian Federation:
• The choice of the model of agglomeration or network settlement system;
• Priority rating between human capital development and establishment of macroeconomic system of development priorities;
• Assessment of the prospects for the implementation of effective communications framework and the "green" engineering infrastructure;
• The choice of a priority development model of the comfortable urban environment.
