A round table «Complex forecasting techniques to provide the balance of strategic goals» will take place on the second day of the strategists’ Forum on the 25th of October at 11.45 a.m.

The participants of the round table will consider regional experience and share the best practices in the medium- and long-terms forecasts of socio-economic development of regions and municipalities of the Russian Federation. Also they will discuss opportunities of implementing information-analytical systems for strategic planning. The improvement of public administration efficiency through automating processes of formation of St. Petersburg strategic planning documents will be an important topic of discussion.

The event is organized by the Government of St. Petersburg, St. Petersburg Committee for Economic Policy and Strategic Planning, St. Petersburg Information and Analytical Center.

Svetlana Tarashina, head of the Department for modeling and forecasting of the St. Petersburg Information and Analytical Center is invited as a moderator of the round table.

Presentations will be made by:

  • Elena Ulyanova, chairman of the Committee for economic policy and strategic planning of St. Petersburg;
  • Elena Volovaya, director of the Department for social and economic development and competitiveness of the Ministry of Development of Competition and Economy of the Ulyanovk area;
  • Dmitry Grazhdanov, head of the Strategic Planning Department of the Government of the Yaroslavl region;
  • Svetlana Ponomareva, head of the Strategic Planning Department of the Vologa region;
  • Katrin Miller, head of the Department of Analysis and Forecasting of Socio-Economic Development of the Ministry of Economic Development, Investment Policy and Foreign Relations of Krasnoyarsk Krai;
  • Oksana Zhigalova, deputy director of the Regional State Institution «Scientific Research Institute for the Study of Regional Economy Problems».
