Accepting applications for participation in Contest of Strategies of Municipal Districts is over. It is received 16 applications, 15 of them passed technical selection. The following applications are admitted to the expert selection stage: Cherepovetsky, Ustyuzhensky and Gryazovetsky Districts, Vologda Region; Gatchinsky District, Leningrad Region; Zavyalovsky District, Udmurt Republic; Mendeleyevsky and Chistopolsky Districts, Republic of Tatarstan; Sysolsky District, Republic of Komi; Tomsky, Asinovsky, Kargasoksky, Zyryansky, Molchanovsky, Pervomaysky and Krivosheinsky Districts, Tomsk Region.

The next stage of the contest - is expert selection of strategies for participation in final. Evaluation is carried out by the expert commission according to the Procedure of evaluation and selection. Comission is headed by Arthur Batchaev, Head of Territorial Strategic Planning Department, ICSER Leontief Centre.

Results of the second stage and list of admitted in the final will be published before September 10. 

Contest final is held on October 24-25, 2016 under XV All-Russia Forum "Strategic Planning in the Regions and Cities of Russia: Building Alignment Through Dialogue". The winner will be identified on the basis of open voting results of Expert Jury.

Contest is held by All-Russian Congress of Municipalities and Forum Organizing Committee in order to stimulate and develop strategic planning mechanisms, spread the strategic planning experience at municipal level, identify innovations and effective solutions in the sphere of socio-economic development at municipal level.
