Accepting applications for participation in the Contest of Strategies of Municipal Districts is ongoing. At the request of the potential participants the conditions have been changed and now it is accepted the applications from Russian municipal districts that have approved or updated the Strategies from August 1, 2014 to August 25, 2016. 

The Contest of Strategies of Municipal Districts is held in order to promote and develop mechanisms for strategic planning, in accordance with the Federal Law №172 of June 28, 2014 "On the Strategic Planning in the Russian Federation", develop the planning experience at the municipal level, identify innovations and effective solutions of socio-economic problems at the municipal level. The final of the contest is held on October 24-25, 2016 under XV All-Russia Forum "Strategic Planning in the Regions and Cities of Russia". Participation does not concern additional cost except costs for participation of the delegation in the Forum.
